Download Easy sudoku (PDF)Fewer clues, still solvable by logic alone — the everyday newspaper level.
Download Medium sudoku (PDF)Fewer clues again; you will need to look at rows, columns and boxes together.
Download Hard sudoku (PDF)Numbers 1–6 in a 6 × 6 grid with 2 × 3 boxes — a first sudoku for children aged about 6–9.
Download Kids 6 × 6 sudoku (PDF)Fill every empty square so that each row, each column and each outlined box contains every number exactly once — 1 to 9 on a 9 × 9 grid, 1 to 6 on a 6 × 6 grid. The printed numbers are clues and never change.
Each 9 × 9 puzzle fills the 7.5 in width inside half-inch margins, so every square is about 0.83 in wide and the clues are printed at about 41 pt bold. Thick lines mark the 3 × 3 boxes and thin lines the squares, which leaves plenty of room for pencil marks. Print at actual size on US Letter, or choose Fit on A4.
Easy puzzles here start with 39–40 clues, medium with 33–34 and hard with 28–32. Fewer clues means more steps before each number is certain. Every puzzle can be solved by logic alone; none need guessing. The 6 × 6 kids set uses numbers 1–6 and 2 × 3 boxes.
