Small grids with addition and subtraction cages only — a gentle first try.
Download Easy 4 × 4 (PDF)The classic size with all four operations: + − × ÷.
Download Medium 6 × 6 (PDF)Large grids with bigger cages and few one-square starts.
Download Hard 8 × 8 (PDF)Fill a grid of size N with the numbers 1 to N so each number appears once in every row and column. The heavy outlines mark cages: the digits in a cage must make the number in its corner with the operation shown. Subtraction and division cages have two squares, in either order. Fill one-square cages first, then look for cages with only one possible combination.
The easy 4 × 4 set uses only + and − and suits children around 8 and up or a first try. The 6 × 6 set uses all four operations and is the classic size for most adults. The 8 × 8 set has bigger cages and takes the longest.
