What does this Bimaru generator make?
Puzzle pages and solution pages for a printed book, with the counts beside each row and column and the fleet drawn under every grid.
- Grid sizes 6 × 6, 8 × 8, 10 × 10, 12 × 12 and 15 × 15, each with a fleet sized to the grid
- Given squares drawn the usual way: a circle for a one-square ship, rounded ends, square middles and waves for water
- Easy, medium and hard, with an option to get harder through the book
- One, two, four or six puzzles per page, with solutions at the back
What does "solvable by logic alone" mean?
A solver that never guesses works through every puzzle using the counts, the rule that ships never touch, the given squares and where each remaining ship could still fit. A puzzle is kept only if that solver finishes it, so it has exactly one solution and never needs trial and error.
How do you play Bimaru?
Find where every ship of the fleet is hidden. The numbers show how many ship squares are in each row and column. Ships lie straight and never touch each other, not even at a corner.
Can I sell Bimaru books made with it?
Yes. Exports from the free tools carry a commercial licence for KDP, Etsy and your own shop. You may not resell or share the generator itself.
